Car parts distributor Autoparts UK has announced a significant increase in popularity of its bottle-free tablet form of screenwash under the P1 Autocare brand. Since the brand joined the global campaign against the use of plastic bottles early in 2019, Autoparts has sold over 5000 screenwash pods, eliminating unnecessary plastic bottles going into landfill or the ocean.

To kick-start the first quarter of 2018, Autoparts UK now has a series of promotions available for customers, with rewards on spend and big brand offers.

The motor factor has a selection of ‘slick’ deals with Ultratec Performance Oils, including a free £100 voucher with every order over £999 (excluding VAT) and a free wall application chart with all oil purchases over £20. There is also a ‘cool’ deal for 3 x 20 litres of Cooltec Antifreeze at just £89.95.

“Electric service” from Autoparts UK

Customers of Autoparts UK will have their parts orders delivered rapidly by a brand-new fleet of unique Renault Twizy electric cars. The 12-branch motor factor has invested in the new environmentally-friendly vehicles as part of a drive to reduce its carbon footprint. The cars will mainly operate from the company’s branches in Glasgow & Dundee, delivering a rapid deployment of parts under its exclusive brands including Padtech brake pads, Disctech discs and Ultratech oils. The Renault Twizy is a twin-seater car that is powered by a 17bhp electric motor. Its battery can be recharged by plugging into any 220V power source.

Autoparts hosts garage equipment show

Autoparts hosted what was billed as the midlands’ largest garage equipment trade show on Thursday 25 September at GTG Wolverhampton. The Autoparts ‘A Night at the Track’ themed trade show has been designed to provide visiting mechanics and garage owners with both an informative and entertaining experience. There was the opportunity to take part in a fully hosted ‘track racing’ themed night and, the chance to win a share of more than £20,000 worth of products throughout the evening.
