Automechanika Birmingham will return to the NEC from 4 to 6 June 2019, with many major industry players signed up to exhibit. The show organisers say the 2019 edition looks likely to increase in size ahead of the event’s move to a biennial format starting in 2021.
Following on from EDT Automotive’s debut at Automechanika Birmingham 2018, the award-winning engine decontamination specialist has signed a further five garages after the event, taking the total of machines placed up to 14.
At this year’s Automechanika trade show in Frankfurt, lighting and electronics specialist Hella will, for the first time, present its combined expertise for the workshop business at Hall 9, Stand A88. Under the motto “OE competence meets diagnostics” the brands Hella, Hella Gutmann Solutions and Behr Hella Service will present product highlights, workshop equipment solutions and technologies of the future at their joint 1,500 square metre stand from September 11 to 15, 2018.

Tyres & Accessories joined the National Tyre Distributors Association in representing the UK tyre industry at what was a lively event for the automotive sector, with an emphasis on visitor interaction – a fact underlined by the three in-hall dedicated presentation spaces, in which speakers addressed major issues currently affecting the sector.

Automechanika has said that innovation will be at the forefront of its agenda for Automechanika Birmingham when the doors open on the three-day show tomorrow. Among the initiatives set up to drive this year’s event will be a raft of keynote presentations, panels, forums and seminars to draw, inspire and motivate visitors attending the industry’s three-day showcase on 5-7 June.
Davanti has exhibited its extended range of tyres at Automechanika Dubai, reporting positive reactions to its expansion strategy across Europe and Asia. The brand included its recently launched all-terrain tyre, the Terratoura, explaining that a full range of tyres is a prerequisite for building Davanti’s profile in new markets. The company also mentioned the value of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) accreditation in the Middle East – a measure Davanti has taken with its whole range, where competitors have chosen to accredit only the most popular sizes.
