ATG gains Manitou supplier award

Agricultural and construction machinery manufacturer Manitou has bestowed a Best Competitive Performer Award 2019 upon Alliance Tire Group. The tyre maker says the award recognises its “excellent cooperation and consistent performance on diverse levels from the development and testing to the procurement and service phase.”

Agritechnica Innovation Award for Alliance 398 MPT

After examining 291 finalists, an independent expert commission appointed by the German Agricultural Society (DLG) has selected the Agritechnica 2019 Innovation Award winners. In addition to bestowing a single Gold Award, the judging panel has given the Silver Award to 39 firms who’ve brought innovative products to market in the past couple of years. One such firm is Alliance Tire Europe, which received a Silver Award for its Alliance 398 MPT high speed flotation tyre. Alliance Tire is the only tyre maker to be awarded.

ATG introduces latest OTR tyres for backhoe, skid steer to heavy loaders, forklifts

Alliance Tire Group (ATG) present its latest Alliance and Galaxy branded OTR products for a wide range of machines, from backhoe and skid steer loaders to excavators, heavy loaders and forklifts, at BAUMA. The newest tyres included the Galaxy LHD 500 SDS for heavy forklifts and wheel loaders and the Alliance A585 for compact and backhoe loaders. The company said its exhibition represented a strong cross-section of its high-performance portfolio for a broad range of operations and machines, offered at a price-point to target value for money.

Alliance 398 MPT: ATG’s ‘turning point’ for the agri and forestry sectors

Alliance Tire Group claims to have written “a new chapter in the history of efficient transportation” with the release of its Alliance 398 MPT multi-purpose tyre for trucks used in agricultural and forestry applications. The tubeless 398 MPT was developed to provide optimum traction and soil protection when off-road as well as speeds of up to 100 km/h and excellent driving stability on the road. The result, says ATG, is shorter work cycles as well as time and labour savings.

Alliance launches A585 for compact & backhoe loaders

ATG has presented its latest addition to the Alliance tyre range at the Bauma show. The Alliance A585 has been developed for construction machinery such as compact and backhoe loaders. ATG says the A585 offers excellent traction on dry, wet and wintery surfaces. It adds that the tyre also features superior puncture resistance and extremely low wear, particularly when used on hard and highly abrasive surfaces.

Alliance Tire Group introduces 10 year warranty on certain agricultural tyres

Alliance Tire Group (ATG) has doubled its warranty on specific agricultural radial steel belted tyres, introducing a new ten-year workmanship and materials warranty as of 1 January 2019. This makes the guarantee one of the longest warranty periods offered in the sector to date. For all other ATG agricultural tyres, the warranty is now extended to seven years.

Alliance Tire Group (ATG) is showcasing the brand’s agricultural expertise at LAMMA, the UK’s largest agricultural and machinery show (8-9 January 2019, Birmingham NEC). It is displaying its row crop Agriflex 363 IF and the Agriflex 372 VF for tractors, the Alliance 389VF, Alliance 885 and Alliance 882 Agri-Transport radial flotation tyres for implements, and the versatile Multiuse 550. The Alliance agricultural tyre range is exclusively distributed in the UK and Ireland by Kirkby Tyres.

Alliance launches first radial OTR range under Galaxy brand

On 23 April Alliance Tire Group (ATG) launched its first radial construction OTR tyre range under its Galaxy brand. The range, which was launched at the Intermat exhibition in Paris includes the HTSR 400 E4 and L4 for dump trucks; the LDSR 300 E3 and L3 for wheel loaders; and the MGSR 200 G2 for graders used on uneven surfaces.

Kirkby: Tyre Wholesaler of the Year growing in 2018

After being named Truck & Agricultural Tyre Supplier of The Year in both 2015 and 2016, last year Kirkby Tyres went home from the NTDA Tyre Industry Awards ceremony in October with the trophy for Tyre Wholesaler of the Year. The 2017 award was for Kirkby perhaps the crowning moment in a year that saw its original equipment and OE2 business continue to grow as well as work progress on its warehousing expansion programme. This expansion will be completed during the course of 2018 and is expected to enhance Kirkby’s operations. The wholesaler also anticipates an increase in its OE/OE2 activities and is introducing several other important agricultural products.
