
Enviro completes share issue, factory construction on schedule
Sweden-based tyre recycling specialist Scandinavian Enviro Systems (Enviro) confirms the completion of its latest rights issue, which initially secured approximately SEK 240 million (£18.5 million / US$25.2 million) before issue costs. It has now transferred shares and warrants to the respective custody accounts, and trading in the warrants has commenced. Enviro expects the issue proceeds to last 18 months and to take the company through to obtaining the PAC (Provisional Acceptance Certificate) for its first factory in mid-2026.

TyreSafe partners NGO in Uganda
TyreSafe has made its first official international partnership with Safe Transport and Survivors Support Uganda (STASSU), a national NGO dedicated to improving road and water transport safety and supporting crash survivors across Uganda. STASSU reportedly has similar aims and vision to TyreSafe including: Vision Zero – “zero harm to road users on the UK’s roads due to illegal and poorly maintained tyres, and to empower road users with tyre safety knowledge to reduce incidents relating to illegal and poorly maintained tyres”. The two organisations will hold a virtual meeting in the coming weeks to map out the next stages of the collaboration.

JLR commits to renewable/recyclable content tyres
Vehicle manufacturer JLR will be the first in the industry to introduce at scale newly developed tyres containing more than 70 per cent renewable and recycled materials such as silica from rice husks and plant-based resins.
