UK UUHP tyre segment grows as full PCLT segment contracts in Q1 2025 – NIQ

The launch of Michelin’s third generation CrossClimate and especially the performance-focused CrossClimate 3 Sport (detailed elsewhere in this year’s Ultra-High Performance Tyres feature) has come at a moment when the intersection of these two segments has arguably never been a more important area of interest for the UK tyre business. First-quarter figures for the market, produced by market research analysts at NielsenIQ and GfK (NIQ) for Tyres & Accessories, demonstrate that growth in the UK tyre market is only present in the all-season and 19”-plus segments.
