Goodyear begins redundancies at Fulda plant

Following confirmation given last November that it would shutter the passenger car tyre plant in Fulda, Germany by September 2025, Goodyear announced the first redundancies at the end of April. Local newspaper the Fuldaer Zeitung reports that this involved 376 redundancies. Goodyear intends to repeat the measure for the almost 600 remaining employees at the site in a further two rounds of redundancies.
