Halfords upgrades profit forecast on back of 10% SMR growth at Autocentres

Autocentres saw strong performance in the more profitable and strategically important Services, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) market, executives have revealed in a trading update that upgrades previous profitability expectations. Indeed, like-for-liked SMR sales growth at Halfords’s consumer garages reportedly grew 10.3 per cent in the third quarter of 2025.
