Prinx Europe highlighting new products, Marangoni partnership at TTC

In addition to presenting a wide range of new products at The Tire Cologne, Prinx Europe will share details of its newly forged alliance with retreading specialist Marangoni. The company invites visitors to find out more at Hall 8, Stand C 038/D 039 between 4 and 6 June.
The 250 square metres of Prinx Europe exhibition space will host several world premieres, including a UHP winter range for Europe, available in both car and SUV sizes. Depending on specific market, Prinx will offer these tyres as Austone, Fortune or Chengshan-branded products. The Tire Cologne also provides the first opportunity for a wider audience to see Prinx’s Aquila Rev summer tyre and the Vanea 4S all-season van tyre.
The Vanea 4S is the company’s first Prinx-branded van tyre range; it says this 3PMSF all-season tyre, which is offered in 21 dimensions, “demonstrates excellent handling and impressive performance in tests.” The Prinx Aquila Rev is a UHP tyre for SUVs and passenger cars. Prinx Europe positions this product at “demanding, sporty riders” and notes that during track testing in Spain, the tyre was “almost on a par with the best-in-class Tier 1 competitor in terms of dry and wet braking performance.”
Strengthening truck business through Marangoni cooperation
According to Prinx Europe’s managing director, Thomas Wohlgemuth, the commercial vehicle sector offers completely new opportunities. One reason for this positive outlook is the company’s own and improved tyres. Another is a new cooperation with Marangoni. Together with the leading European manufacturer of tyre retreading materials, Wohlgemuth intends to increase the number of service lives per commercial vehicle tyre and thereby reduce CO2 footprint as much as possible. Marangoni and its partners are also taking over the distribution of the Austone brand in Italy, Germany and further selected European markets. “With the close collaboration with Marangoni, we and our customers will have completely different options in the future.” We’re not exactly sure what this means, and it appears we will have to wait until The Tire Cologne to find out more from Thomas Wohlgemuth.
In regard to the upcoming show, Adrian Costache, Prinx Europe’s head of sales, describes The Tire Cologne as “a fantastic opportunity to experience our latest innovations first-hand and discover a range of ground-breaking solutions that are setting new standards in the industry.” His plan for the trade fair is to pass on knowledge, discuss industry trends and “show how our products can drive business forward.”
