Bridgestone amongst top 10 Sustainable Development Enterprises in Vietnam

In mid-December Bridgestone was named amongst the Top 10 Sustainable Development Enterprises in Vietnam. This is the fifth year Bridgestone Vietnam has been named in the Top 100 and is the only tyre industry representative on the list, according to local news reports. The list is compiled by Business Council for Sustainable Development Vietnam. (VBCSD) under the auspices of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

Sadaharu Kato, managing director of Bridgestone Vietnam is quoted as saying: “It is with great pride that this is the 5th time that Bridgestone Vietnam has been honoured in the Top 100 Development Enterprises for sustainable development in Vietnam.”

“…For Bridgestone, this award is a milestone marking our continuous efforts in action programs for sustainable development in Vietnam over the past time. 2021 is a challenging year for all businesses in Vietnam because of the unpredictable effects of the COVID-19 epidemic. This achievement is the motivation for us to continue with activities that contribute value to customers and society with the mission of “Serving society with excellent quality”, Kato added.
