Fintyre in talks with “potential new investors”

Date: 27th May 2020 Author: Chris Anthony Comments: 0

Fintyre, the large but troubled European tyre distribution enterprise, has confirmed that it is talking to “potential new investors” in a statement designed to clarify its ongoing position “given the events that have taken place in the last few months”.

Qualifying its words by saying it is “premature” to confirm details of the business’ “future financial structure”, the company says it is “in dialogue with partners and strategic suppliers as well as with potential new investors”.

The company also confirmed the continuity of its Fintyre operations including Franco Gomme and its tyre retail business.

The statement concluded by saying: “Despite the exceptional nature of the moment, exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic, the whole team is running the business for customer service to be always up to the Fintyre standard.”
