Europe launch for Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT & Discoverer AT3 XLT

Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT & Discoverer AT3 XLT

Cooper Tire Europe has added the Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT and the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT to its 4×4 line-up. Building upon the launch of the tyres in the United States, a range of sizes will now be made available in UK and other European markets.

Recently announced as original equipment on the Nissan Navara N-Trek Warrior utility vehicle, the Discoverer AT3 LT caters for medium-to-heavy duty vehicles, while the Discoverer AT3 XL suits larger, heavy-duty vehicles. Initially, the Discoverer AT3 LT will be offered in Europe in 15 sizes for 16- to 18-inch wheel rims (with load indexes ranging from 112 to 121), while the AT3 XLT will be available for 15-inch (LI 109) and 20-inch (LI 121) rims.

Both tyres feature Cooper’s Durable Tread Technology to haul heavy loads with reduced wear; stone ejector ledges to release stones and gravel, and to maintain a clean tread for enhanced road traction; and the 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMS) designation for winter and snow performance. In addition, the AT3 XLT boasts rugged traction shoulders for aggressive off-road use, and resistance against abrasion and punctures.

Cooper Tire Europe’s latest arrivals add to an already extensive range of 4×4 and SUV products, covering various surfaces, conditions and temperatures. Off-road, Cooper Tire Europe offers mud-terrain, rough-terrain and all-terrain products, while on-road, it offers summer, winter and all-season tyres.

“We are excited to add these two new tyres to our line-up,” says Michiel Kramer, sales and marketing director, Cooper Tire Europe. “Both the Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT and the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT have proven themselves across the United States. We now look forward to sharing these tyres with our European customers.”
