Klarius has been presented with the Northern Automotive Alliance’s Manufacturing Excellence Award. The award was presented by Jaguar Land Rover and followed a detailed application that focussed on continuous improvement (CI) and a quality driven culture at the company’s manufacturing plant in Cheadle near Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

Klarius CEO Mark Brickhill commented, “The Northern Automotive Alliance is a phenomenal organisation supporting manufacturers in the UK. We are both delighted and proud to have won their Manufacturing Excellence Award, judged and sponsored by Jaguar Land Rover, especially given the excellent competition.”

The NAA is a highly respected independent, not-for-profit company which provides a membership service combined with a project management delivery function to the UK automotive community. The NAA supports companies from micro-specialists through to global vehicle manufacturers, offering training, networking, events and funding applications alongside strategic, business and technical advice.

The governance of the NAA is via its directors and a large advisory board representing the industry. The annual awards event is designed to reward companies that invest in manufacturing and people, recognising the very best achievements in the country’s automotive industry.
