Daniele Schillaci appointed Brembo CEO

At the start of May Brembo S.p.A. CEO Andrea Abbati Marescotti announced that he would leave the company effective 30 June 2019 “to pursue new professional projects and activities”.

After graduating in Industrial Technologies Engineering at Milan’s Politecnico in 1993, Daniele Schillaci has gained 25 years experience in the automotive sector. He was also appointed President of Japan and Asia Region with responsibility for production, engineering, development, sales & marketing, finance and has led Nissan’s “Zero Emission Vehicles” project.

Brembo executive vice chairman, Matteo Tiraboschi, commented: “I have learned with regret of Andrea’s decision to leave the company after the close cooperation we had for the last eight years, even though I have well understood the personal reasons that have led him to such life choice. In these years Andrea has contributed to lead the Company by ensuring the constant growth of our turnover across all markets, the expansion of our industrial footprint and the achievement of all our business objectives. I thus wish to thank him and at the same time convey all my very best wishes for a great success in his future activities.”
