Top natural rubber produces cutting exports by 240,000 tons

On 6 March, the International Tripartite Rubber Council (ITRC) announced plans to reduce rubber exports by 240,000 tons for the next four months.

In a joint statement after a meeting in Bangkok last week to finalize details the group said: “Under the sixth AETS implementation, the three countries agreed for export cutbacks of 240,000 metric tons of natural
rubber.”

The ITRC, which includes Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia, first announced the cuts in February without providing details.
