National to unveil product group expansion at Automechanika Birmingham

National Auto Parts will exhibit its latest products, including three new product groups of brake shoes, brake hoses and wheel cylinders

National Auto Parts will be exhibiting at this year’s Automechanika Birmingham, bringing its full aftermarket offering to the show, taking place at NEC Birmingham on 4-6 June, including three new product groups of brake shoes, brake hoses and wheel cylinders.

Following its introduction to the market in March, National’s new range of brake shoes will be showcased to visitors for the first time, featuring OE matching quality, design and fitment and backed by the supplier’s 2-year / 20,000 miles warranty policy which comes with each of its products.

The asbestos-free shoes, launched in response to popular demand, also feature a low noise friction formula, with handbrake shoes also available in the range.

Brake shoes are currently experiencing a growing trend, and this latest addition to National’s comprehensive brake and clutch programme is reflective of the company continuing to meet increasing demand from the market.

Alongside this, National will also be showcasing two other new product groups for the first time, its new brake hose and wheel cylinder ranges.

National has one of the largest brake programmes available to the aftermarket, covering more than 1,500 brake disc and drum references with an ongoing development programme, equating to over 95 per cent of the European passenger car and light commercial vehicle parc. Since the company last exhibited at the show, its ranges have grown beyond all recognition.

As one of the UK’s leading clutch and brake specialists, National has been reliably serving the independent aftermarket in the UK and throughout Europe as a manufacturer and distributor for over 30 years.

As well as the new product group launches, visitors can expect to gain further insight into its market-leading engineering capabilities, through National’s complete range of clutch and brake components, covering brake discs, brake drums, brake pads, clutch kits, clutch concentric slave cylinders, conventional solid flywheel replacement kits for dual mass flywheel applications and wheel hub units available for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.

There will also be the chance to meet with the team on stand who will be on hand to answer any technical FAQs as well as share the latest industry developments.

David Houlden, National Auto Parts managing director, said: “We’re very excited at the prospect of sharing our up to date parts programme with visitors at this year’s show, including the new ranges. The event is gearing up to be the biggest and best yet, with an extended offering to garages, so we are looking forward to demonstrating directly to them the capabilities and benefits our full braking programme brings.”
