VMI opens Thailand ‘Service Center’

The Thailand centre is said to be fully equipped with the specialized tooling required for servicing VMI mechanical drums

On 22 January, the latest VMI Service Center located in Chon Buri Province, Thailand, was officially opened by Riaan Diener, VP of VMI Global Services, and Aart van der Pol, Regional Manager Customer Service Asia.

VMI’s Thailand facility is the firm’s ninth service centre and is designed to serve VMI’s global customer base “in a quick and efficient manner”.

The Thailand centre is said to be fully equipped with the specialized tooling required for servicing VMI mechanical drums. The drum service operation returns drums to their original condition complete with full warranty.

Riaan Diener commented: “Our local Thai and Chinese speaking engineers are highly trained to ensure that our customers can optimize the total cost of ownership of VMI equipment by benefiting from a wide range of service solutions that VMI offers. These include training packages, service programs, drum overhauls as well as retrofits and upgrades”.
