Schrader Performance Sensors to launch motorcycle TPMS sensors at AutoZum

The new Schrader motorcycle TPMS sensors are available for BMW and KTM applications

Schrader Performance Sensors, the automotive aftermarket brand of Sensata Technologies, will launch two new motorcycle TPMS OE replacement sensors into the aftermarket at AutoZum in Salzburg, Austria (16-19 January 2019). Schrader will participate in the show with an updated product portfolio on its 50sqm booth in Hall 10 (stand 0706). During the show visitors will have the chance to meet Schrader sales, technical and engineering experts who are ready to answer any TPMS-related questions and to offer practical tips and suggestions.

“Bringing motorcycle TPMS to the aftermarket is a huge step forward for Schrader in offering a full range of transportation TPMS solutions,” says Kelly Boor, general manager of the global aftermarket business at Sensata Technologies: “We continue to be committed to expanding our product range with developments that are tailored to our market’s needs.”

The new valve-mounted sensors will be available for sales in February 2019 in two part numbers: 3141M for BMW and 3142M for KTM motorcycles. The new sensors cover all BMW and KTM motorcycle models equipped with a TPMS system from the manufacturer. The sensors are sold without a valve stem that can be purchased separately as part of the designated service kit.
