Trico goes all-out for Auto Trade Expo

Trico heads to Dublin for this year’s Auto Trade Expo with plenty to share with visitors, everything from a new slogan and packaging, to a liveried transporter, Ginetta race car and a competition that could see visitors walk away with prizes from a €10,000 bundle.

The annual exhibition, held at Citywest Exhibition Centre between Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 October, is the perfect platform to showcase many new developments from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and supplier of wiper blades and systems.

The strapline ‘Excellence in Every Blade’ was introduced earlier in the summer to highlight the trust that OEMs and aftermarket suppliers have placed in Trico for more than a century. It has also been introduced to help Trico’s customers sell and explain the benefits and quality that Trico offer, using the motto to strengthen their own sales.

Further proof of Trico’s excellent relationships with its customers is illustrated in the manufacturer’s new packaging. The Flex, Force and Neoform ranges have undergone a facelift after the company listened to customer feedback. The revamp has resulted in shallower packaging that enables workshops, motor factors and retailers to increase the number of wiper blades that can be hung on display.

A Trico-liveried race car transporter and the Ginetta G50 that is moved from circuit-to-circuit around the UK will also be at the show for visitors to check out. TRICO is a proud sponsor of Yorkshire-based team, Tockwith Motorsports, whose driver is on the verge of winning the Britcar Dunlop Endurance Championship.

If that wasn’t enough, Trico will also be handing out a limited number of tickets from their “Trico 10k Giveaway” running in Ireland throughout October – that could win one lucky visitor a holiday voucher worth €1,000. Other prizes up for grabs include an iPad, Amazon Echo, flatscreen television and a driving experience.

In what promises to be a busy show for T Trico’s technical sales representative for the UK & Ireland Andy Taylor added: “As well as all the new developments and exciting things for visitors to see, we will also be telling customers about lots of new-to-range references.

“I will be on-hand to answer questions about products – and anything else on the stand! I look forward to meeting lots of our existing customers and some new faces as well, all of whom I hope will be impressed with our stand and offering.”
