Pirelli a DSJI Industry Leader 2018

Date: 17th September 2018 Author: Stephen Goodchild Comments: 0

Pirelli has been named leader of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DSJI) World and Europe review in the Auto Components section. The tyre maker gained a total score of 81 points in the annual review of the indices conducted by RobecoSam and S&P Dow Jones, compared with a sector median of 32.

Launched in 1999, the Dow Jones sustainability indices are among the most important market indices regarding sustainability at the world level. Involving over 2,000 companies from 60 industrial sectors, the analysis is based on the integrated evaluation of economic, environmental and social factors, that are the three aspects which define the concept of sustainability in terms of enduring value creation for all stakeholders.
