Gert Meylemans becomes Eurobat communications manager

Gert Meylemans, the former head of PR and corporate communications at Bridgestone Europe worked with Bridgestone for almost 20 years

Gert Meylemans, the former head of PR and corporate communications at Bridgestone Europe, has become senior manager communications at Eurobat, the Association of European Automotive and Industrial Battery Manufacturers.

Meylemans spent almost 20 years with representing Bridgestone in a number of roles, before the leaving the company in July 2016. Prior to that he was a PR executive for Nissan in Belgium. Now, after two years of consultancy projects, he has switched from tyres into the world of automotive and industrial batteries as of August 2018.
