Delticom relaunches Tyretest.com tyre review site

Delticom has re-launched its Tyretest.com sites following a design facelift. The customer review-based website has also been optimised for display on mobile end devices. Tyretest.com was launched in 2000. Since then, the portal has been expanded to over 20 countries. It now has more than 600,000 tyre and product reviews in its database.

Motorists can also write their own reviews on Tyretest.com and share their individual experiences with a tyre with other drivers. This can be done anonymously as a guest or via your own user account. Delticom argues that, since tyre test tyre ratings are not linked to a purchase from a particular tyre dealer or online shop, the reviews remain unbiased. However, should someone decide to buy due to a positive evaluation, Tyretest.com refers to Delticom’s Mytyres.co.uk site via the click of a button. “Although tyres ‘just’ look black and round on the outside, they are in fact high-tech products that are packed full of engineering skill. In addition, Internet buyers today are spoilt for choice from a huge range of tyre brands as well as online shops such as Mytyres.co.uk and Tirendo.co.uk,” says Thierry Delesalle from Tyretest.com.

“Many consumers find it difficult to feel their way through the confusing maze of manufacturers’ marketing promises. The respective tests by major magazines or automobile associations have also lost people’s confidence in recent years because they are apparently not always independent of external influences. For this reason, we offer a platform of drivers for drivers in the form of Tyretest.com, where people can find genuine reports of experiences from private end customers that haven’t been sugar-coated. Visitors to the website will also find tens of thousands of reviews of motorcycle tyres, lorry and van tyres as well as of off-road and 4×4 tyres to use as solid support and orientation when buying tyres.”
