Cooper launches all-season tyre for SUVs and pick-ups

A brand new all-season tyre for SUVs and light duty pick-ups – the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S – has joined Cooper Tire Europe’s range for cold weather conditions.

Featuring Cooper’s Adaptive-Traction Technology, the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S is designed to grip the driving surface, whether rocky or smooth, in hot or cold weather conditions. The tyre is constructed using a silica-based tread compound and Cooper’s Sure-Grip five-rib, all-terrain pattern – Cooper Tire Europe says these combine to provide off-road driving capability and excellent wet and dry traction.

The tyre’s zigzag sipes are there to improve vehicle stability while reducing stone retention, and deep centre grooves to reduce hydroplaning. Severe weather rated with the three peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol, the Discoverer AT34S has patented saw tooth technology designed to trap snow in the tread to provide superior stopping distance on snowy surfaces.

The Cooper AT34S is available in 37 sizes for 15- to 20-inch rim diameters.
