Michelin launches new military tyres

Michelin presented its latest military tyres at the recent 2018 International Defense and Security Fair – Eurosatory – in Paris Nord Villepinte.

Michelin tyres for military and civilian armoured vehicles include the XML 325 / 85 R 16, XZL2 395/85 R 20 and XForce ZL 415/80 R 685 (mm). For engineering vehicles, the company supplies the CrossGrip 440/80 R 28.

Michelin also presented its X Tweel airless tyre that provides protection from punctures and air pressure problems. The tyre and wheel combination deforms according to the roughness of the terrain or the obstacles encountered and eliminates most tyre maintenance needs, according to the company.
