Behr Hella Service introduces QR codes on packaging

With immediate effect, thermal management expert Behr Hella Service will print a QR code on all its product packaging labels. This will enable wholesalers and workshops to get product information on their smartphones.

The information comprises current images, vehicle applications and OE numbers from the online catalogue as well as 360-degree images, material safety data sheets and installation notes – all easily available via a simple scan. In addition, this information is available in 18 languages.

Scanning the code is possible with a QR scanner, which is available at no cost at Google Play or in the app store where it can be installed as an app directly on the phone.

To ensure the greatest exposure for this important information, Behr Hella Service has also integrated QR codes in the recently published print catalogue ‘Thermal Management Trucks & Transporters’. Additional catalogues with QR codes are likely to follow, which will speed the process of finding updated product information.
