Nexen holds third purple summit in Manchester

This year's program was attended by more than 60 invitees

Nexen Tire has completed its 2018 Purple Summit Manchester, the company’s third annual integrated marketing event.

Held from April 20-23 in Manchester, UK, the home city of Nexen Tire’s marketing partner Manchester City Football Club, the 2018 event fostered and strengthened relationships with the tire maker’s business partners. This year’s program was attended by more than 60 invitees and Manchester City’s winning the 2017-18 English Premier League title must have helped.

With Nexen’s new manufacturing facility in the Czech Republic soon to be operational, the company outlined future business plans. The main conference, held Sunday, 22 April, introduced Nexen’s tube and solid tyre businesses as well as sharing partner success stories. Participants at the summit were invited to join Nexen Tire at Etihad Stadium to watch Manchester City’s game with Swansea City A.F.C on 22 April 22.
