Goodyear launches Kmax S & Kmax D

The first sizes in two Goodyear tyre lines for smaller trucks come to market this month. The Kmax S steer axle and Kmax D drive axle tyres are being rolled out in a total of 20 dimensions for 17.5-inch and 19.5-inch rim diameters, and Goodyear says the new products offer strong traction, excellent steering characteristics, high mileage and robustness.

Both tyres are suitable for a broad range of applications, from urban transport to long-distance haulage. Furthermore, Goodyear says that it has optimised the Kmax S and Kmax D to be just as suitable for use on hybrid and electric vehicles as they are on conventionally-powered trucks. All tyres in the range are 3PMSF marked for year-round use.

The Kmax S and Kmax D replace the Goodyear RHS II und RHD II (+). Starting with 17-5-inch sizes in April, the introduction of the new tyres will continue with the larger dimensions from the middle of this year.
