Alliance Tire prices increase 6%

Effective 1 May, Alliance Tire Americas (ATA) will increase prices up to 6 per cent across all product lines. The price increases are reflective of rising raw material costs and “the company’s commitment to providing quality products at a competitive price”, the firm said.

ATA previously raised prices in the US and Canada on its OTR and commercial tyre lines in April 2017 citing “significant increases in the cost of natural rubber and other raw materials used in tire production.”

Alliance Tire Americas is also the exclusive US distributor for Aeolus truck, bus and OTR tyre, and also markets its own Constellation brand of truck tyres.

Alliance Tire was acquired by Yokohama Rubber in 2016.
