Workshop technicians praise latest Schaeffler Repxpert INA and FAG training event in Hereford

The latest Schaeffler Repxpert training event has been labelled a ‘great success’ by technicians who participated in the recent INA and FAG course at a packed-out Repxpert Academy.

Presented by INA and FAG specialist, Tim Adams, and supported by fellow Repxpert, Alistair Mason, the pair held an engaging, full-day workshop for technicians eager to learn more about timing systems, Front End Auxiliary Drive Systems and wheel bearings.

A mixture of interactive theory and discussions about how the various systems operate, how they have evolved and how technicians can adapt their skills were held amongst the group, before getting more hands-on with each system, whilst also tackling various scenarios that may well end up in their workshop.

Garage owner Rahul, who attended with his workshop staff, Jon and Stefan, said: “The guys and I were really impressed with the INA and FAG training event that we attended at the Repxpert Academy in Hereford.

“We found it very beneficial, and the team of Repxperts delivered an excellent presentation, with some great demonstrations – proving you are never too old to learn! We were also very grateful for the hospitality whilst on-site, and we are looking forward to attending further Repxpert events like this in the future.”

The INA and FAG session is the latest of Schaeffler’s free training courses to be choreographed by a member of the Repxpert team. The next event to be held at the Hereford Academy takes place on 19 March, which is an IMI-approved LuK 2CT Double Clutch course, including a certified assessment.

To enrol on any of the courses, registered users can visit Repxpert – www.repxpert.co.uk – and sign-up by clicking on the preferred course in the ‘Learn’ section of the website, which will also have comprehensive details of what each session entails, including the available dates and how to book
