Chevin showcasing new fleet software at CV Show

Chevin Fleet Solutions, a leading global provider of fleet management software, will be demonstrating its latest innovations at this year’s CV Show. Its data collection app, automated Driver Licence Checking system upgraded with ‘e-consent’ and support for the DVSA’s ‘Earned Recognition’ pilot are just some of the new products on display.

Chevin will also showcase a new Workshop Floor System called the ‘Workshop Hub’, designed to deliver technician’s essential job information on a tablet or smartphone.

David Gladding, Global Sales & Marketing Director for Chevin, said: “Commercial vehicles face a lot of compliance challenges in their day-to-day operation, but there are huge opportunities for improvements and cost saving initiatives in many areas.

“Big HGV operators face a lot of vehicle stop checks and site visits, along with having to submit intrusive maintenance reports, so Earned Recognition should be top of their list of things to investigate.

“….Our fleet management software package, FleetWave, is designed as an end-to-end solution, one single system to manage the whole-life-cycle of a vehicle from initial acquisition to driver allocation; operating expenses such as fuel and maintenance; legal compliance such as o-license, LOLER, driver license check and much more.

“If you have one system as a single source of truth you can manage by exception, to ensure compliance, keep vehicles roadworthy and gain visibility of costs – and we look forward to demonstrating all of these functionalities in more detail to visitors at this year’s CV Show.”

Chevin are on stand 4E41 at the NEC in Birmingham between 24 and 26 April 2018.
