New sizes complete Continental radial range for wheel loaders & dump trucks

Three sizes of E4/L4 EM-Master are now available

The Continental range of wheel loader and dump truck radials has been rounded out by the introduction of two more E4/L4 dimensions into its EM-Master line. The addition of these size 23.5R25 and 26.5R25 tyres give Continental a total of 13 loader and dump truck tyre sizes within its three tyre lines.

“This for now completes our range of radial tyres for use on wheel loaders and dump trucks in particular for construction work and mining,” says Christian Luther, earthmoving product line manager at Continental Commercial Specialty Tires (CST). “We are also collaborating intensively with our customers to further expand our portfolio to meet their needs and requirements.”

The EM-Master is part of the ContiEarth portfolio, a range specifically developed for the construction sector. The tyre is ideally suited for articulated dump trucks (ADT), loaders and dozers and is available in two versions: The EM-Master E3/L3 has a normal tread depth and wide spacing between the blocks, and is at home on soft ground. In comparison to the E3/L3, the EM-Master E4/L4 is ideally suited for hard and stony ground thanks to a greater block size, with less spacing between the blocks and a deeper tread depth.

The ContiEarth series also includes the RDT-Master and DumperMaster. The first of these was developed for rigid dump trucks. Thanks to its deep tread design, the tyre offers high resilience, cut resistance and self-cleaning properties. The DumperMaster has an all-steel radial casing that allows high load capacity with low heat build-up. This makes it ideally suited for transporting ore onto the conveyor belt or directly from mines to the surface on dump trucks. In addition, the tyre is well-suited for tunnel construction.
