Dmack becomes tyre partner to TER

Dmack is supporting the TER with prize initiatives and tyre incentives for competitors across all categories

Motorsport tyre firm Dmack has become ‘Official Tyre Partner’ to the Tour European Rally (TER). Having downsized its World Rally Championship participation this season to concentrate on both product development and core sales, Dmack says this partnership with TER will “allow it to connect with rally competitors across a broad range of abilities and vehicle classes.”

TER was launched in 2016 and features six classic rallies across Europe. Dmack is supporting the series with prize initiatives and tyre incentives for competitors across all TER categories, including a new Dmack TER2 Cup for aspiring young drivers.

Sharing the benefits of supporting this young but fast-growing championship, Dmack comments that the TER is “renowned for delivering hassle-free competition on some of Europe’s definitive rallying stages” while its “competitor-friendly approach includes refunded registration fees and an impressive TV package covering over 100 countries, with footage provided free-of-charge to teams for promotional use.”

“Our strategy this year is to focus on expanding both the Dmack sales network and our customer base, becoming official tyre partner to the TER allows us to connect with an important range of competitors,” says Dick Cormack, managing director of Dmack. “The championship truly has cost-effective competition at heart and the organisers continue to offer fantastic events that are firm favourites with drivers, alongside an impressive TV package. Our products are the perfect match for those rallies and we will soon have news of some significant prizes and incentives for competitors.”

Luca Grilli, Tour European Rally organiser, adds: “We are delighted to welcome Dmack to the TER – Tour European Rally. Their support to our series will allow teams and drivers to benefit from a world class product and service, providing both them and the TER with an important opportunity to grow further. As with all the TER events and partners, the agreement with Dmack is a long-term partnership and we wish to work together to reach important goals.”
