Three new HiQ centres open their doors

The HiQ network has grown this month with the addition of three new centres – HiQ Oxford, HiQ Cardiff and HiQ Witney – on 1 December.

The new Oxford branch is located on Ferry Hinksey Road and is owned by Zaheer Iqbal, who worked as a building surveyor for the past 20 years until he decided to take over the Howkins Garage, a family-run business founded in the early 1970s. Iqbal now seeks to build upon the success of the Howkins brothers with this new HiQ opening and counts on the loyalty of previous customers.

On 1 December, the doors also opened on a new HiQ location in Wales, as the network welcomes HiQ Cardiff and the team from Abbey garages to the HiQ family. HiQ Cardiff is run by Abbey Garages (Cardiff) Ltd., a company that owns Ford and Volvo dealership Fordthorne Motor Park as well as a Rapid Fit service outlet, which has now been converted into a HiQ. The new HiQ centre is located on Penarth Road.

Last but not least, a new centre in Witney, run by Mark Gower from Spires Autocentre Ltd., joined the network at the start of the month. Gower has previously been involved as a HiQ franchisee with Car-Tech in the past, and decided to re-joint the network with this new centre. HiQ Witney is located in Swingburn Place.

All three centres offer a wide range of services and products such as tyres, brakes, batteries, exhausts, MOT’s and servicing for all makes and models of vehicles.
