Brake calipers in demand over winter

Brake Engineering, one of the UK’s leading braking suppliers, is highlighting to the aftermarket the importance of effective stock management over the winter period with calipers set to be in high demand.

As temperatures plummet with conditions putting braking systems to the test, now is the time for garages to remind motorists of the importance of winter vehicle checks and for motor factors to ensure they have an appropriate stock holding to cope with increased demand.

Brake Engineering has highlighted 12 key calipers covering 256 vehicle applications including Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class (2008), Audi A1 (2010) and Toyota Auris / Corolla (2012). Calipers for Ford Tourneo Custom / Transit / Transit Custom (2012) are also in demand, highlighting the brand’s LCV offering.

To date, more than 40 brake calipers have been introduced in 2017 covering over 1000 vehicle applications.

In line with its ‘Original Aftermarket’ promise, Brake Engineering is committed to ensure products introduced meet the demand faced by independent garages and motor factors, as well as providing customers with complete, traceable braking solutions of excellent quality. As braking is a safety critical product group, this quality must also be apparent and understood throughout the supply chain.
