Lassa Tyres sponsors Glory 49 kickboxing event

The world’s best-known kickboxing promoter Glory returned to Rotterdam Ahoy Saturday 9 December 2017 for an end-of-year event. Lassa Tyres, exclusively imported by S&H Tyres in the Benelux, was one of the sponsors.

The headliner of GLORY’s 49th kickbox gala was the battle between world champion heavyweight Rico “The King of Kickboxing” Verhoeven from the Netherlands and second placed Jamal “The Goliath” Ben Saddik from Belgium. In 2011, it was Ben Saddik, who made his debut as professional boxer, knocking out Verhoeven in two rounds. Rico had to go through some deep waters, but he showed to be a true champ. Jamal was very close and on the verge of winning, but Rico turned the fight around in the last rounds. And he knocked out Jamal in the final round.
