TSW Alloy acquires Good Roads Auto Systems

Growth is occurring at US-based aftermarket alloy rim manufacturer TSW Alloy Wheels. In addition to opening distribution centres in Atlanta and Dallas to complement its headquarters site in California and the planned opening of a centre in Chicago in the coming months, the company has acquired Florida-based specialist Good Roads Auto Systems together with its many wheel brands and a distribution centre.

Good Roads Auto Systems has been owned by the Ruff family since 1982 and distributes from warehouses in Fort Lauderdale and Tampa, Florida. With 80,000 wheels and thousands of tyres in stock, the company claims to possess the largest wheel inventory anywhere on the east coast of the United States. Good Roads reports acting as the exclusive distributor of over fifty major wheel brands.

With the acquisition, TSW states it is “proud to add a fantastic sales team” to its operation, and confirms its intention to retain Good Roads’ Fort Lauderdale distribution facility. “This will continue the Good Roads legacy and increase the reach of TSW,” comments the company in a statement.

With the addition of a distribution centre in Florida, TSW Alloy Wheels now has the capability to reach the whole of the state within 24 hours or less. Looking ahead to when all five distribution centres are up and running, TSW will have the ability to reach almost the entire continental US within 48 hours or less with standard ground shipping methods.

Along with its own wheel brands, TSW Alloy Wheels will acquire and continue to maintain the existing Good Roads brands. The TSW network now includes the following: Beyern BMW Wheels, Black Rhino Truck Wheels, Coventry Jaguar Wheels, Cray Corvette Wheels, Genius Smart Car Wheels, Lumarai Lexus Wheels, Mandrus Mercedes-Benz Wheels, Redbourne Land Rover Wheels, Ruff Racing Wheels, Status Wheels, TSW Alloy Wheels, Tuff A/T Truck Wheels, Victor Equipment Porsche Wheels, and XO Luxury Wheels.
