Michelin’s Goubert to take position at Dorna Sports

Nicolas Goubert, currently deputy director, technical director of the Michelin Racing Group and supervisor of Michelin’s MotoGP programme, will take up a new position at Dorna Sports next February. He has been appointed executive director of upcoming electric motorcycle championship, the FIM Moto-e World Cup.

During a 28-year career at Michelin, Goubert has led numerous racing projects. He took on his current role in September 2009, and had previously served as 2-wheel racing and MotoGP manager between November 1997 and November 2006. Dorna Sports states that Goubert played a key role in strengthening its relationship with Michelin as official MotoGP supplier.
