Tyre and wheel fitment data companies Fitment Group and Size It Up have announced they will merge and operate under the Fitment Group brand. The value of the merger was not disclosed. The expanded business is based in Duluth, Minnesota.

With the combined data sets, Fitment Group now has information on 148,000 vehicles from current models back to those from the 1930s. The company provides information on OE, OE optional, plus sizing, winter sizing, tyre and wheel packages, and more.

JP Brooks, director of business development for the Fitment Group, said: “We are very excited to work together and provide the industry with the most comprehensive, accurate, complete and actionable tyre and wheel data base available in the market place. Size It Up will greatly increase the level of expertise and intimate industry knowledge to Fitment Group as a whole.”

Fitment Group was founded in 1998 by Tiegen Fryberger.
