Automechanika Birmingham switching to biennial format from 2019

After a successful show this year, and with 300 exhibitors already booked for 2018, Automechanika Birmingham has announced that the event will switch to a biennial format and run every other year from 2019.

Writing in a letter to stakeholders, show representatives said: “We have received significant demand for the 2018 event, with 300 exhibitors already booked, including several major brands from the industry. With our visitor research indicating that over 85 of buyers intend to return to next year’s event, this points to a strong demand for a solely UK focused automotive exhibition.”

As we have seen, from 2019 the show moves to a biennial schedule, meaning it will run in 2019, 2021, 2023, with the company confident that it will “further flourish in a biennial format, with Automechanika Frankfurt running in the even years.”
