Video: Falken at the Nürburgring 24 Hours

The Falken Motorsport team grew to include the new BMW M6 GT3 at the 2017 Nürburgring 24h race

Looking back on one of the major events in its calendar, Falken has posted a video reviewing its participation in the 2017 Nürburgring 24 Hours. The Sumitomo Rubber Industries brand expanded its entry at this year’s event with a new BMW M6 joining the Falken Motorsports Porsche 911.

Having started 37th and competing at the enduro for the first time in the company’s iconic blue and teal colours, the Japanese tyre manufacturer’s new BMW M6 GT3 driven by Peter Dumbreck, Alexandre Imperatori, Stef Dusseldorp and Marco Seefried eventually finished eighth. A collision four hours into the Saturday evening led to the retirement of the team’s Porsche 911 GT3.

The video, available below, uses three film crews, helicopter and drone to create a film that catalogues the highs and lows of the 140 car event on the Nordschleife.
