Brisa rolls out new organisational structure

Several strategic changes have been implemented within the organisational structure of Turkish tyre maker Brisa Bridgestone Sabanci. The joint venture company has grouped its activities into three main units – ‘Sales’, ‘Marketing and Entrepreneurship’ and ‘International Markets and OE Business’.

The units are headed by Yakup Demir, who as of last month holds the position of chief sales officer; Korhan Korel, who is now chief marketing and entrepreneurship officer; and Halit Şensoy, chief commercial officer international markets and OE business. The three report to Brisa’s sales director, Taylan Avcıoğlu.

A further new appointment that took effect in July is that of Oguzhan Avdan to the position of entrepreneurship director at Brisa.
