Enviro appoints Olov Ershag COO

Olov Ershag is to become the chief operating officer of Scandinavian Enviro Systems after this summer, Ershag will be responsible for the technical components of future delivery projects together with the company’s project management in Sweden, and will optimise technical solutions for specific customer needs and criteria. He also takes over the responsibilities of Enviro’s current chief technical officer, Elisabeth Gustafsson, who after three years leaves the company for GU Ventures.

Ershag has worked for Scandinavian Enviro Systems as a process engineer since 2008, and together with Enviro founder Bengt-Sture Ershag has contributed to the further developing the company’s patented pyrolysis tyre recycling process to a commercial scale. “Olov has been a key person in the construction of the recycling plant in Åsensbruk and is highly involved in the construction and operation of the delivery process,” says Environ chief executive officer, Thomas Sörensson. “Thus, it’s a natural recruitment as we now enter the stage to build plants for clients around the world.”
