Garage equipment specialist offers five-year warranty

Garage equipment specialist V-Tech has announced that from April 2017 it will be offering five year warranty as standard on MOT bays, in a move it describes as “an industry first.” V-Tech originated to supply handheld diagnostic systems as demand took off in the early 2000s. Since then, it’s grown rapidly to become a national supplier and installer of a wide range of garage equipment.

“The new five year warranty will cover all complete Class 4 and 7 MOT bay projects with four post lifts,” said Chris Phipps, head of sales for V-Tech UK Ltd. “We’re in a position to do this because our products are of high quality and 100% European – everything we sell, we can support.”

In fact, V-Tech offer a complete range of customer care services; this covers the full project scope, from planning assistance and CAD workshop design, through to installation and aftersales care. Service and maintenance is carried out by V-Tech’s own national fleet of engineers.

“What we don’t want to see is garages risking reliability or safety,” continued Phipps. “High quality European-manufactured equipment costs little or no more from V-Tech and the new five year MOT bay warranty just layers on added peace of mind.”

V-Tech recommends buying only from experienced suppliers, as emerging brands are often not worth the risk. All the equipment featured on their website at www.garage-equipment.co.uk is also VOSA approved.

V-Tech’s capability to sell high quality equipment at extremely competitive prices is driven by two things.  On the buying side, V-Tech source and stock their own brand in volume, giving them exceptional factory-gate prices.

Meanwhile, unlike many competitors, their lean route to market sees most sales made direct to garages, with developing reseller business only through a carefully managed network.
