Winton Engineering appoints new commercial manager

Winton Engineering has appointed a new commercial manager, Paul Smith. Since its acquisition by rotary vane compressor manufacturer Mattei in 2015, Winton has invested in a branding refresh, and has launched a number of new products to enhance its overall offering of on-vehicle power solutions – including built-in compressor solutions.

As commercial manager, Smith will be responsible for the strategy and marketing of the business, including trade shows, and maintaining and developing relationships with vehicle manufacturers and dealers.

Commenting on his appointment, Smith said: “Winton Engineering is an extremely well-respected company in the on-vehicle power market, and I am pleased to have joined the team. It’s a fantastic testament to the business that after pioneering the concept of on-vehicle power, it is still a market-leading brand over 30 years later. I look forward to contributing to the continued growth and success of Winton as its commercial manager.”
