Bartec appoints operations, finance directors
Global TPMS Bartec Auto ID (Bartec) has appointed two new members to the company’s board, Matt Woods and Philip Wilson. Woods, who joined Bartec in 2013 as general manager, is the new operations director, while Wilson has been promoted to finance director, having joined the company in 2015.
Originally tasked with project managing the design and build of the company’s refurbished head office in Barnsley, Woods has since implemented restructuring of the company’s production, purchasing and quality systems and overseen the acceleration of the company design and development projects.
Woods had previously enjoyed a career which included the successful project management of several diverse multi-million pound projects. He has always exhibited a flair for management and, more recently, implemented those skills by managing his own successful business.
Wilson holds two of the premier business qualifications in the world and more than 10 years’ experience in advising business owners and managers. Bartec states that he possesses a wealth of commercial and operational expertise, along with an eye for detail.
Wilson said: “I’m delighted to be joining a responsive and progressive board with real ambition to grow Bartec. The company has always, outwardly, been very proud of the quality of its offerings and customer service, but, internally, the ethos of quality and co-operation rings true as well. We have a great team here.”
Managing director Colin Webb added that he was “absolutely delighted” to welcome both Matt and Philip on-board. Both were appointed with immediate effect.
