A growing presence: Davanti at Autosport 2017

Davanti sales continue to grow, despite a strong first 18 months, according to company representative

Merseyside based, high performance tyre specialist Davanti returned to this year’s Autosport International/Performance Car Show in January to capitalise on a very successful year in 2016. Established just over 18 months ago this new brand has grown quickly. Following success in the UK, the firm has added staff in Europe to expand sales on the continent.

Sean Maddocks, Davanti’s sales director for the UK and Ireland said: “When we exhibited at this lively event last year we were only just establishing ourselves in this highly competitive market sector and took a modest size stand to display our initial tyre patterns. This time we promoted ourselves to a much more prominent stand with the primary objective of showcasing our tyres and partnerships to new customers and updating our existing customer base in the UK on our extensive progress over the past twelve months.

“The show has been a great success once more with the trade sector enthusiastic about our new tyres and we had important discussions with decision makers from a wide variety of potential partners. During the public days we saw that our brand awareness continues to gain recognition from ordinary sports enthusiast drivers.”

Davanti currently specialise in the PCR sector and displayed a series of high performance patterns including the DX640 and DX390 on vehicles from two new partnerships they have just announced. To showcase their partnership as the Official Tyre Partner of the Autodomo Interncaional do Algarve Race School, one of the track cars shod the DX640 was brought over from the track in Portugal, which was made famous by it’s recent appearance on the much anticipated Grand Tour on Amazon TV.

The DX390 has also just been announced as the tyre of choice for the 5Club MX-5 Cup. The stand also housed a Davanti branded MX-5 to promote their new partnership to the trade and public.

Maddocks added: “We pride ourselves on successfully working with many motorsport companies who actually race on Davanti tyres as we firmly believe that if our tyres are ‘good enough for the track then they are good enough for the road’. The Davanti brand has been specifically manufactured to expertly handle and perform at speed on all types of road surfaces and weather conditions.”

In addition, Davanti is currently developing an ‘all-new’ run-flat range and will reportedly continue to look at other market sectors in due course.
