ProVQ becomes IAAF member

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has welcomed automotive training specialist ProVQ Limited to its membership network. Julian Lloyd, ProVQ managing director, said: “We’re delighted to join this highly celebrated federation and we’re confident that this new venture will provide us with ample opportunities to raise brand awareness and enable us to expand our services to a wider customer base.

“IAAF’s numerous networking events will offer us the chance to better integrate with the independent automotive aftermarket and continue to improve our understanding of the industry in order to support its needs.”

ProVQ recruits, trains and assesses apprentice vehicle technicians, vehicle fitters, parts advisors and customer service advisors, preparing them with the key skills and knowledge required to work professionally and successfully within the automotive aftermarket. Qualified vehicle technicians can also be trained to master technician level with ProVQ.

Working in partnership with global vehicle manufacturers, the independent aftermarket, logistic supply chain and public sector bodies, ProVQ currently trains more than 700 apprentices and many thousands of technicians.

With its membership, ProVQ will have access to exclusive ‘member only’ benefits, including recent lobbying activity, and the latest industry information and specialist IAAF services such as an alternative dispute resolution scheme and a free legal helpline. The automotive training specialist can also take advantage of the many IAAF networking meetings while benefitting from the specialist advice and industry insights provided.

Wendy Williamson, IAAF chief executive, said: “It is with great pleasure that we welcome ProVQ to the network. The company’s benefits are evident and it’s great to have yet another forward-thinking member on board with the sole intention of developing and improving the automotive aftermarket and those within it.”
