Goodyear ‘thrilled’ with Auto Express tyre test victory

The Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 has completed an important trio of all-season tyre test victories in Europe

The Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 added to all-season tyre test victories in Auto Bild and L’Argus with its Auto Express win. The tyre performed exceptionally well in wet braking (first), wet handling (first), snow handling (first) and cabin noise (first) disciplines as well as snow braking (second), straight aqua (second) and rolling resistance (second). It shone in the wet disciplines, stopping two metres ahead of the second place Nokian Weatherproof in the wet braking test.

Kim Adams, who conducted the test for Auto Express wrote: “It takes a balanced performance across all our assessments to crown a winner, and that’s what Goodyear has delivered here. There’s no doubt this product is from the winter tyre school of all-season design, but it does enough in the wet and dry tests to take the overall victory.“  He summarised that the tyre is “a fine all-rounder that’s really safe in wet and on snow.”

Kate Rock, PR & corporate communications manager for Goodyear said: “We are thrilled to take this accolade once again. It is pleasing to see that these test results confirm the performance of the newest member of the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons family. Goodyear is committed to providing safety during all weather conditions, especially more challenging situations such as on wet, icy and snowy roads. These test results reinforce our 30 years of All Season leadership to contribute to road safety and give families peace of mind when behind the wheel.”
