Autosupplies (Chesterfield) set to expand

Autosupplies (Chesterfield) is adding a 7,600 square foot extension to its Bolsover site, making it one of the largest single branch motor factors in the UK.

The extension will provide more space to extend all current product ranges. Expected to be completed by early 2017, the extension will mean the site in Bolsover will occupy 35,000 sq ft and will allow Autosupplies to hold £2.5million worth of products, ensuring it has a level of stock in place to meet all customer requirements.

Managing director, David Clarke, said: “This investment highlights our position as a leading UK motor factor and demonstrates exactly what customers can expect to receive in relation to product quality, efficiency and customer service. The investment will firmly cement our position as one of the largest single branch motor factors in the UK ensuring that any increased demand is met and product availability remains high.

“Suppliers have really embraced our growth plans and it is also thanks to our partnership with them that we are able to achieve continued growth.”

As a result of the extension, Autosupplies will be recruiting additional staff, all of which will have their own accredited training plans, providing them with the appropriate skills to develop their career.

With the motor factor also maintaining close ties with a number of local schools and various charities by regularly supplying prizes for fundraisers, along with releasing members of staff to contribute towards ‘Industry Days’, teaching interview skills and providing essential business advice, Autosupplies is very much devoted to developing young members of the Chesterfield community and beyond.

Now employing over 80 members of staff and managing a fleet of more than 45 delivery vehicles, the motor factor is one of the most prominent businesses in the Chesterfield area supplying customers within a 50mile radius.
