Manufacturing in the spotlight for STARCO at GaLaBau

STARCO says it will one of the 1,300 or so exhibitors present at the GaLaBau trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany next month. The company is bringing experienced experts to the show and plans to display key brands plus its portfolio of in-house developed and manufactured wheels and tyres for industrial, ground care and utility vehicles.

GaLaBau, the “International Trade Fair for Urban Green and Open Spaces,” is the first trade fair that STARCO has attended since the divestment of its primary aftermarket activities to Germany’s Bohnenkamp, and therefore it intends to place a strong focus upon its manufacturing set-up and experience in development.

“We have worked with wheel and tyre solutions for turf equipment for over thirty years – for instance, professional movers and compact tractors. We both develop and manufacture our own solutions but also have other brands such as Kenda and Galaxy in our product range,” comments Frédéric Ivancich, STARCO’s segment director for ground care and utility vehicles.

STARCO is exclusive tyre and wheel supplier to various leading brands in these markets, and the company aims to further grow its industrial, ground care and utility vehicle business. The Danish firm’s recently launched ‘2020 strategy’ outlines a commitment to becoming a preferred supplier of intelligent wheel and tyre solutions for original equipment manufacturers is evident. “We are continuing to invest in strengthening our development, manufacturing and supply set-up to become an even more attractive partner for our current and potential new customers,” says Richard Todd, chief executive officer at STARCO.

STARCO can be found at GaLaBau in hall 6, on stand 6-330.
