Tech: VT36 and OE-R Reifen launches ‘hugely successful’

As well as launching a new TPMS sensor range and tool, Tech honoured its longest serving customers

Tech Europe (EMEA) reports that the company had a “hugely successful week” at the last Reifen Show in Essen. During the course of the even Tech Europe showcased its online portfolio of Tech tyre repairs and wheel service solutions, presented developments in TPMS, including the new OE-R TPMS sensor programme, the new VT36 Diagnostic Tool and the Tech T-Pro configurable sensor, showed its expertise in retreading and OTR repairing, displayed its Pang Industrial range and introduced a new range of mounting pastes and hand-cleaners.

At the same time, Tech Europe sought to acknowledge its customers’ commitment with long service awards for AWA, Austria (20 years Tech), Tech Hungary (20 years Tech), Europa Auto, Bosnia (20 years Tech), Kibaroglu, Turkey (15 years Tech), Per Sigtun (40 years Truflex/Pang), Ten-Tec, Italy (10 years Truflex/Pang), and M.J. Alegria, Portugal (5 years Truflex/Pang).

On the product side of things, as we have seen, Tech Europe launched a new range of TPMS including the new Tech OE-R, which is billed a direct replacement for OE sensors and is said to offer users “a cost-effective, efficient solution” requiring “no additional programming”. Meanwhile, Tech Europe also launched the ATEQ VT36, a new, low-cost starter TPMS diagnostic tool.

According to the company, the VT36 is designed to offer “an affordable and accessible diagnostic solution to small and medium size businesses entering into the TPMS market”. With this in mind, it is designed as the TPMS tool of choice for OEM and multi-brand workshops, tyre service centres and car fleets.

The idea is that, with the VT36 in hand, a service manager or technician can quickly diagnose car TPMS sensors in the car park without entering the car into the service bay. All sensor data is displayed in seconds: ID, battery status, tyre temperature and pressure. If a sensor requires replacement, the VT36 contains a part number lookup library covering both OE and aftermarket sensors and provides steps to choose and program the right replacement among the leading aftermarket sensors.
